League Cup 1st round seeds

THE regional splits for the first round of the 2014/15 Capital One Cup have been announced by the Football League.

Each seed to be drawn will face a non-seed from their region, which is also separated by a northern and southern division, and are based on final league positions from 2013/14.

The first round draw will take place in due course and will be announced at 10:00 BST on Tuesday 17 June, the day before next season’s Football League fixtures are released.

It will consist of 70 of the 92 clubs in the top four English leagues, with Premier League teams who are not participating in Europe entering in the second round.
