CELTIC are sweating on the fitness of star player Kris Commons for the second leg of their Champions League qualifier with KR Reykjavik on Tuesday.
The 30-year-old injured his thigh in the second half of Saturday's 1-1 friendly draw against German second-tier outfit Dynamo Dresden.
The forward, who wore the captain's armband, opened the scoring with a seventh-minute drive at the Glucksgas Stadium before sustaining the problem.
"Kris seems fine. He seemed to get a knee in his thigh. I didn’t think too much about it. I did not think it was too dangerous," boss Ronny Deila told reporters afterwards.
"When you play matches, things will happen. We will see about him tomorrow.
"We trained hard on Friday so there was a little bit less energy and it wasn’t helped that it was 40 degrees out there.
"The boys worked hard, we got to see every player, so that was positive and there were some good attacks as well. But we will show a lot more energy on Tuesday."
The Scottish champions hold a 1-0 advantage against Icelandic side KR heading into the return leg of the second qualifying round tie.
It will be held at Edinburgh's Murrayfield with Celtic Park unavailable because of the opening ceremony of the Commonwealth Games.
The Hoops will face either Irish side St Patrick's Athletic or Polish outfit Legia Warsaw should they progress.
