BARRY Ferguson could be reunited with his former club Rangers in the Petrofac Training Cup after the second round draw was made.
The former Scotland international, who left the Light Blues five years ago, could take his Clyde side to Ibrox if the Gers beat Hibernian in their delayed first round tie.
Hearts take on nearby Livingston as former Jambos boss John McGlynn faces his former club at the Almondvale Stadium.
Last year's winners Raith Rovers will face Falkirk if they can defeat Dunfermline in their rearranged first round clash after its postponement due to a waterlogged pitch.
The Pars will be looking to set up a home tie against the Championship club if they can beat Raith in the Fife derby.
Elsewhere, Morton host Berwick Rangers and last season's Scottish Cup surprise package Albion Rovers travel south to Stranraer while Peterhead go to Brechin and Alloa welcome Stirling Albion.
Brora Rangers, the only remaining non-league team in the draw, will welcome Gary Naysmith's East Fife to Dudgeon Park after beating Stenhousemuir 3-1 in the first round.
Former Gers skipper Ferguson will be hoping his League Two Clyde can stir a surprise against their Championship opponents, whoever they may be.
The former Blackpool boss was appointed player-boss at Broadwood in June after Jim Duffy departed to join Morton.
McGlynn will be reunited with the Tynecastle side - one of the favourites for promotion to the Premiership - 17 months after he was sacked in an all-Lothian affair.
The ties will be played on Tuesday 19 and Wednesday 20 August with the winners advancing to the quarter-finals, which are scheduled for September 6.
