REFEREES Andrew Dallas and Don Robertson have received their first appointments since being promoted to the Scottish Premiership.

Robertson will be the man in the middle when newly-promoted Hamilton host Inverness on the opening Saturday of the season.

Dallas will oversee Partick Thistle's first home game against Ross County the following Wednesday evening.

Both officials will be included in the top-flight for the first time in 2014-15 after the Category One list lost Iain Brines, Stevie O'Reilly and George Salmond at the end of last term.

Dallas, 31, and Robertson, 30, have been fast-tracked through the lower leagues and are now two of Scotland's seven Uefa officials.

Robertson will be assisted by Willie Conquer and Michael Banks at New Douglas Park with Crawford Allan set to perform fourth official duties.

He has already overseen Alloa's 2-1 Challenge Cup victory over Arbroath at Gayfield Park on 26 July.

Dallas, who is the son of former Scottish referee and SFA Referee Development Officer Hugh, will be assisted by Willie Conquer and Stephen Mitchell at Firhill while Calum Murray will be the fourth official.

It will be his fourth game of the current season after already handling the Scottish League Cup first round tie between Stranraer and East Fife last Saturday and Falkirk's thumping 7-1 win over East Stirlingshire in the Petrofac Training Cup the previous week.

He is due to referee Queen of the South's opening Championship match against Alloa Athletic at Palmerston Park on Saturday.
